Agate Mountain

Go 1.75 miles south on Highway 9 from Hartsel. At CR 53, turn and go south 15 miles to the parking area on the east boundary of the property, on the south side of CR 53.

Go 2 miles north of Bailey on US 285 to traffic light, turn left on CR 43 and go 6.4 miles to Saddlestring Road. Turn left, go another 0.3 miles to FS 101 and turn right. Go 4 miles, park, then walk another 2 miles northeast to the property.

This is 22 miles of fishing access east and west from Hartsel along US 24, directly north of Hartsel, and north and south along Highway 9.
HUNTING: No hunting, camping or fires allowed.
FISHING: Special fishing regulations apply: Gold Medal Waters
RESTRICTIONS: Park only in designated areas; access only from designated areas; closed beyond fenced and posted easements.

From US 24 east of Hartsel, take Elkhorn Road (CR 15) north for 15 miles to sign, then go west 1.8 miles to parking area. Or, from Como turnoff on US 285, take CR 15 southeast for 8 miles to sign, then go west 1.8 miles to parking area.
