Gila County is in east central Arizona. Gila County contains 4,768 square miles of land and 28 square miles of water. Parts of the San Carlos and Fort Apache Indian Reservations are in Gila County. The county seat is Globe. Large parts of Gila County are now huge holes in the ground, leftovers from the days when copper mining was king around here. |
