Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs was a sacred place for the Anasazi, ancestors of the present-day Pueblo Indians. The Anasazi inhabited the valleys and mesas of this area beginning over one thousand years ago, making this one of the oldest health resorts in North America. Today, the Mineral Springs offer an unpretentious and peaceful setting with a very special combination of mineral waters. Over 100,000 gallons of geothermal mineral waters have streamed out of the mesas daily for centuries, healing and revitalizing those who have soaked in these legendary waters. |
