12 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon, Solitude Mountain Resort is far from the crowds at other resorts. With the unrivaled beauty and 500" of snow, you're not going to miss anything... except maybe the lift lines... Solitude used to be a locals-only day ski area but, after 50 years of great skiing, the base area has become a charming, European-style pedestrian village with a first-class Bavarian style hotel and numerous 1-3 bedroom condos scattered around. This resort is designed to pamper and relax, with ski in/out convenience, an attentive staff, an on-site spa and several gourmet restaurants. |
