The 3,132 acres of terrain, glades, cruisers and steeps with a total vertical drop of 4,406 feet almost demands repeat visits from everyone who goes to this mountain. With lots of family friendly activities and wide open, groomed cruising, Snowmass has been rated one of the best family ski areas in North America for many years. In addition to all the great skiing, Snowmass offers boarders 3 terrain parks (1 is brand new) with 1 superpipe and 1 beginner pipe. Also, the new Elk Camp Meadows learning area is located mid-mountain and features a dedicated quad chairlift to help make learning easier.
