Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort offers a 125-passenger Aerial Tram that climbs 2,900 feet in about 8 minutes and dumps skiers out at the top of 2.5-mile-long Chip's Run, atop Hidden Peak. Known for spectacular scenery, superb customer service and simply amazing powder, Snowbird is the ultimate Utah destination. Ski-in/out lodging, luxurious suites, year-round outdoor heated pools, diverse restaurants, and spa services are just a few of Snowbird's amenities. There is even a 600-foot conveyor lift through a tunnel in the mountain to give skiers access from Peruvian Gulch into Mineral Basin, making even more intermediate terrain easily accessible. You can also take advantage of the deal between Alta and Snowbird that allows skiers access to both resorts... Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon on State Highway 210, about 30 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, 1 mile down the canyon from Alta. |
