Alto Lake - Hours are 5 am to 10 pm. The posted portion near the outlet is closed to fishing.
Aztec Pond - Summer catfish waters.

Bataan Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Bernardo Waterfowl Area - (Part of Ladd S. Gordon Waterfowl Management Complex.) Boat use is restricted to boats without motors. No trotlines. Access is as posted.
Bear Canyon Lake - Winter trout water. No trotlines. Boat use is restricted to oars or electric motor.
Big Dry Creek (Catron County) - Closed to fishing from Golden Link Cabin upstream through its headwaters.
Bill Evans Lake - Winter trout water. No trotlines. Boat use is restricted to oars or electric motor.
Black Canyon Creek (Grant County) - Closed to fishing from barrier upstream to headwaters, including Aspen Canyon and Fall Canyon Creeks.
Bonito Lake - Season is April 1 - Nov. 30. Hours are 5 am to 10 pm. No boats or floating devices. The posted portion near the outlet is closed to fishing.
Bosque del Apache NWR - Special regulations apply, get information from the refuge office.
Bosque Redondo - Summer catfish and winter trout waters.
Brood Pond (Seven Springs Hatchery) - Open only to children under 12.
Burn Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Burns Canyon Lake at Parkview Hatchery - Season is from April 1 to Oct. 31 during daylight hours. No boats or floating devices. Lake closed indefinitely for repairs, call 588-7307 for status.
Butler Street Reservoir - Hours are 5 am to 10 pm.

Carlsbad Municipal Lake - Winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Carrizozo Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Chaparral Lake - Summer catfish and wintr trout waters. No trotlines.
Charette Lakes, upper and lower - Season is noon on Mar. 1 to Oct. 31. Boats may be used only during fishing seasons and restricted to trolling speeds.
Chama River - Special trout waters. Special kokanee salmon snagging season from El Vado Lake to west boundary of Rio Chama WLA, Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.
Cimarron River - Special trout waters.
Clayton Lake - Season is Mar. 1 to Oct. 31. Boats may be used only during fishing seasons and restricted to trolling speeds.
Cochiti Lake - Boats may be used only at trolling speeds.
Cowles Pond (smaller of 2 ponds) - Open to children under 12 and handicapped anglers only.
Doctor Creek - Special trout waters.

Eagle Nest Lake - Hours are 5 am to 10 pm. Special kokanee salmon snagging season Oct. 1 to Dec. 31. The portion within 300 feet of the dam is closed to fishing. (The north shore approx. 1/4 mile on each side of the lodge and cabin as posted is closed to public entry.)
El Vado Lake - Special kokanee salmon snagging season Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.
Escondida Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Estancia Park Lake - Open only to children under 12.
Eunice Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Fall Canyon Creek (Grant County) - Closed to fishing.
Fenton Lake - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors. The parking area is open to vehicles from 6 am to 9 pm only.

Gilita Creek - Special trout waters.
Glenwood Hatchery Brood Pond - Open daylight hours.
Green Meadow Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines. Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors.
Greene Acres Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Harris Pond (Las Vegas) - Open only to children under 12.
Harry McAdams Park Ponds (Hobbs) - Open only to anglers under 12, age 65+ and handicapped.
Heron Lake - Boat use restricted to trolling speeds. Special kokanee salmon snagging season Nov. 15 to Dec. 31.
Hopewell Lake - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors.

Iron Creek (Catron County) - Closed to fishing from the barrier upstream to its headwater in the Gila Wilderness.

Jack's Creek - Special trout waters.
Jackson Lake - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors.
Jal Lake - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.

Laguna Madre (Maxwell Lakes) - The posted portion within 150 feet of the outlet is closed to fishing.
La Joya Waterfowl Area - (Part of Ladd S. Gordon Waterfowl Management Complex.) Boat use is restricted to boats without motors. No trotlines. Access is as posted.
Lake Roberts - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors.
Lake Van - Summer catfish and winter trout waters.
Little Creek (Catron County) - Closed to fishing from the barrier upstream through all tributaries.

Maddox Lake - Open daylight hours. Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors. No trotlines.
Main Diamond Creek (Catron and Sierra Counties) - Closed to fishing above the confluence with the East Fork of Diamond Creek and South Diamond Creek drainage.
Maxwell Lakes (13 and 14) - Season is noon Mar.1 to Oct. 31.
McAllister Lake - Season is noon Mar. 1 to Oct 31. Boats may be used only during fishing season and restricted to trolling speeds. No campfires allowed.
McGaffey Lake - Boat use is restricted to boats without motors.
McKenna Creek (Catron County) - Closed to fishing.
McKnight Creek (Grant County) - Closed to fishing.
Mogollon Creek, East Fork (Grant County) - Closed to fishing upstream of waterfalls near FS trail 153, including Trail Canyon Creek, South Fork of the Mogollon and Woodrow Canyon Creeks.
Mogollon Creek, South Fork (Grant County) - Closed to fishing upstream from confluence with Trail Canyon Creek.
Monastery Lake - No boats or floating devices allowed. Hours are posted.
Morphy Lake - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors.

Nabor Creek, Nabor Lake - Special trout waters.
Navajo Lake - Special kokanee salmon snagging season Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.
Ned Houk - Winter trout waters. No trotlines.

Oasis State Park - Summer catfish and winter trout waters. No trotlines.
Olympic Pond (Angel Fire) - Open only to children under 12 and age 65+.

Pecos River - Special trout waters.

Ramah Lake - Boats are restricted to trolling speeds. The north shoreline is private property, closed to the public.

Red River City Ponds - Open only to children under 12 and the handicapped.
Red River Hatchery Pond - Special trout waters. Reserved for anglers under 12, age 65+ and the handicapped. No boats or floating devices allowed. Open daylight hours. Daily bag and possession limits are 3 trout.
Rio Cebolla - Special trout waters.
Rio Costilla - Special trout waters. Camping is allowed only in designated areas.
Rio de los Pinos - Special trout waters.
Rio Grande - Special trout waters.
Rio Guadalupe - Special trout waters.
Rio Las Animas - Special trout waters.

Sacaton Creek (Catron County) - Closed to fishing.
San Antonio River - Special trout waters.

Santa Cruz Lake - Hours are 6 am to 10 pm. Ice fishing is not allowed.
Santa Rosa Pond at Blue Hole - Open only to anglers under 12, age 65+ and the handicapped.
Sargent Wildlife Area - Special trout waters.
Seven Springs Hatchery Brood Pond - Open only to children under 12.
Sheep Corral Creek (Grant County) - Closed to fishing.
Shuree Ponds (Valle Vidal) - Special trout waters. Season is July 1 to Dec. 31, during daylight hours. One pond is reserved for anglers under 12. Boat use is restricted to boats without motors.
Snow Lake - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors.
South Diamond Creek and tributaries (Catron and Sierra Counties) - Closed to fishing.
South Fork - Closed to fishing.
Spring River Park (Roswell) - Open only to children under 12.
Springer Lake - Boats are restricted to trolling speeds when water storageis under 1,000 acre feet. Ice fishing is not allowed.
Stubblefield Lake (Maxwell Lakes) - The posted portion within 150 feet of the outlet is closed to fishing.
Spruce Creek (Catron County) - Closed to fishing.

Tingley Beach - Summer catfish and winter trout waters.
Trail Canyon Creek (Grant County) - Closed to fishing.
Tucumcari Wildlife Area (formerly named Ladd S. Gordon WLA) - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors.

Valle Vidal (Vermejo addition to Carson National Forest) - Special trout waters. Season is July 1 - Dec. 31, during daylight hours.
Valley Improvement Association Ponds (Belen) - Open only to children under 12.

Wall Lake - Boat use is restricted to boats with oars or electric motors only.
White Creek (Catron County) - Closed to fishing from the waterfall near White Creek Cabin upstream to headwaters.
Willow Creek (Rio Arriba County) - Special kokanee salmon snagging season Nov. 15 to Dec. 31.
