If you are interested in advertising your business on this website:

  • We allow no more than 2 banner ads per page: one at the top (below the navigation array), one at the bottom (above the navigation array) (this rule is relaxed on local services pages - and the prices are lower).
  • We allow no more than 4 button ads per page (except on local services pages - contact us for these prices).
  • All prices are for annual subscription and payment is fully earned when ads are published to the web (this allows time for the ads to get picked up by the search engines and fully come into play for you).
  • We won't sell you a spot that someone else has first, unless they give it up.
  • Every link to you feeds to your website through a new window or new tab - this gives visitors a return link to sangres.com and gives us a counter for Click-Through-Rates. Every out-going link includes meta tags directing search engine robots to follow the links into your site (this helps your own PageRank and indexing).
  • If you want to place several ads, talk to us: we offer discounts for multiple ads.

If you are interested, the best thing to do is call us during normal working hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM MDT).

There is an order form here (and a .pdf version here). Fill either one out, submit it (through the web site, or via fax or snail mail), call us if you want or need to. And make a choice as to how you'd like to be billed: direct invoice from us and pay by check or invoice from Google Checkout so you can pay by credit/debit card.

If you haven't called us beforehand, we will call you when we receive the form. Our turn-around time for placing ads on the site is usually less than 3 business days but now and then, Scott is out of town on a photo/data run (mountain climbing, skiing, hiking, whatever) and he'll take care of you as soon as he's back at his machine.

Some folks want to know about the Google ads: we have developed a tracking system that is written into the code of those ads and our system lets us know pretty much what each particular page on the site is worth (that's how we set our prices). Just so you know, those ads have more than paid our monthly mortgage and car payments since 2005 so we know that we've got some interested eyeballs going through our site. At the same time, as we place ads on particular pages, we usually pull the Google ads out.

Scott has been putting a lot of time and effort into filling in the gaps in our presentations. 2006 finished with 1.1 million unique visitors on the site. 2007 saw 1.25 million.
