Cabresto Lake Road 134A heads north from Cabresto Canyon (State Road 563) about 5 miles in State Road 522. It's about 2 miles to Cabresto Lake and the Lake Fork Trailhead (#82) on SR 134A. In season, snowmobiling is permitted to the lake only, beyond the lake is for snowshoeing and cross country skiing only (Latir Peak Wilderness). Rating: Intermediate for horseback, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross country skiing, expert for hiking and mountain biking. USGS Quads: Questa, Latir, Red River |
