The Zimmerman Lake Trail is rated "easy" and is about 1 mile long (each way).
Trailhead Location: From Fort Collins take Highway 14 west for 67 miles. The trailhead is on the south side of the road. This trail follows an old jeep trail to Zimmerman Lake. The Colorado Division of Wildlife introduced native Greenback Cutthroat Trout to the lake a few years ago so special fishing restrictions apply. |
