The Link Trail is about 10.8 miles long (one way) and is rated as Most Difficult.
Trailhead Location: From Fort Collins take Highway 14 west 60 miles and turn north onto Laramie River Road. Follow Laramie River Road 16 miles, then turn left onto Glendevey Road and travel another three miles. The trailhead is on the left, just past the Browns Park Campground. This trail is in the Rawah Wilderness. The trail climbs through a lodgepole pine forest to the Big McIntyre Burn offering great views of the surrounding countryside. The trail intersects the Medicine Bow Trail, the McIntyre Lake Trail and finally joins the Rawah Trail at Rawah Lake #1. Campsites must be situated 200 feet from any water sources. |
