Rendezvous Ski Trails

The Rendezvous Ski Trails are operated and maintained through a cooperative agreement among the National Forest Service, the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce and the West Yellowstone Ski Education Foundation. This 35 kilometer Nordic trail system winds through the Gallatin National Forest next to Yellowstone National Park. November sees the US Nordic and Biathlon teams training here, along with hundreds of other race enthusiasts getting in their early season training. Dogs and snowmobiles are prohibited. The trails are open to the public from December 1 to March 31. It's $8 for a day, $40 for an individual season pass or $75 for the whole family for the whole season. Some trails are open in November but there's a whoe different fee schedule in place then. Passes can be bought at the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce, the Hebgen Lake District Ranger Office and at several of the ski and sport shops in West Yellowstone.

The trailhead for the Rendezvous Ski Trails is at the intersection of Obsidian Avenue and Geyser Street in West Yellowstone.
