Silver Mountain Resort is what Telluride was, before the crowds arrived. Two 6,300-foot mountains, 3 bowls, lots of powder and tree skiing, all accessed by a world-class gondola ride to the base village. Family friendly prices, unmatched guest services, wide uncrowded slopes, bumps, chutes, trees, gladed meadows, well-groomed cruisers and rolling novice runs make this a ski resort to check out, again and again and again. There's also a good terrain park on the mountain with a pretty nice half-pipe. The Silver Mountain base vllage is 40 minutes from Coeur D'Alene, 68 Interstate miles east of the Spokane, Washington, International Airport. |
