The peacefulness found on the 240 acres that surrounds the home supports folks in taking life at a slower pace. Enjoy the warmth of the newly constructed timber-frame home and the unique decor in our guest bedrooms and baths. The home is ADA accessible. In season, we also offer modern accommodations in our sheep-herder's wagon and in our teepee, for those who'd like a taste of something different.

How to get here: Travel the I-25 to Trinidad, Colorado, and get off at the Colorado State Highway 12/Scenic Highway of Legends exit: #13B. Follow the Scenic Byway signs west out of town for 14 miles. Just past the town of Segundo, on the right will be County Road 43.6 and a sign for San Juan Plaza (actually, 0.7 miles west of Ringo's Supermarket in beautiful, downtown Segundo). Take the right, go 1/2 mile, stay right at the fork and come up to the gate. If we're expecting you, we'll be sure you have the gate code (reservations are highly recommended). Drive through the gate and follow the gravel road for 1/2 mile to the Colt Ranch gate, on the left.
