Shelf Road Part 2

This is what's ahead of me. I'm looking down the canyon toward Canon City, the Wet Mountains rising on the far horizon. You can see Shelf Road as it makes its' way down the slope along the canyon wall. That area to the right is the Shelf Road Climbing Area: miles and miles of BLM land with only a very few roads giving access to what's behind those mesas. In the center of the photo is the opening into Garden Park (there's pavement down there).
