Shelf Road Part 2

This is looking back up the hill on the single track. Notice the road along the face of the slope on the left. The up and down angles don't look that bad but I'm just getting started going down into the famous canyon. Uphill to the left is private land, uphill to the right is BLM. Gambel oak, willows and locust in the stream bed, even a cottonwood snag sticking up, while the trees on the hillsides are mostly cedars and small piñons. This may be a mile below Marigold and about 2 miles above Garden Park.
