As Mount Oxford is just 1.2 miles east of Mt. Belford and they share a connecting ridge, most folks climb both peaks together. There is also a trail from the east and one from the south (both sourced at the Pine Creek Trailhead - a trailhead that also gives access to Mt. Harvard's north side).
Access: Follow the directions for reaching and cimbing Mt. Belford. Notes: From Mt. Belford's summit, drop down to the southeast and then east to the 13,600' saddle between Belford and Oxford. From the saddle there's a good climbers trail leading to the summit of Oxford. The easiest way out is back over the top of Belford. USGS Maps: Mt. Harvard, Winfield |
