This moderate-rated hiking trail is about 1.5 miles long (each way) and sees heavy usage in summer and early fall. Motorized vehicles are prohibited. This trail is also known as the North Cheyenne Creek Trail and it ends where the Pipeline Trail #668 begins.
Access: The trailhead is about 1/2 mile past the locked gate at the intersection of North Cheyenne Canyon Road, High Drive and Gold Camp Road. Notes: Camping is allowed at undeveloped sites along the trail, just be at least 300' from any water flows. Camping permits are not required, pack it in, pack it out, make sure your campfire is dead out, and bring your own water. USGS Maps: Manitou Springs |
