The Herman Gulch Trail is about 3.5 miles long (one way) and is rated as More Difficult.
Trailhead Location: Take exit 218 off Interstate 70, three miles west of Bakerville. Starting on an old sawmill road, this trail emerges from the forest within a mile of hiking. Subalpine flowers add beauty to an otherwise rocky terrain. Towards the top of the trail, rock cairns lead the way to Herman Lake. |
