Lake Meredith is probably the primary tourist attraction in Crowley County. It's a pretty large body of water and I hear the fishing is really good. Of course, on the day I come to visit, the wind is howling and there's no one using the lake, except lots of waterfowl and a few seagulls. The lake is just southwest of Sugar City with a public area (where these photos were taken) and a State Wildlife Area maybe a mile further west (different access road, too). |
