Below is a list of whitewater rafting companies that operate in different parts of Arizona. The rafting season on most Arizona rivers runs from early March to maybe the middle of May. Because of so short a season, quite a few of the rafting companies run their operations from other states that offer longer seasons. This is not a complete list of whitewater rafting companies, nor of the raftable rivers in Arizona, but these guys advertise the most and work the most popular rivers. |

Below is a list of commercial outfitters who have been permitted to operate in Grand Canyon National Park. They offer a variety of trips lasting anything from 7 to 18 days and use a variety of watercraft: dories, motorized rafts and paddle rafts. Whitewater rafting on the Colorado River is usually a year-round adventure. Most of these companies also offer rafting adventures in other areas, too.
